We did go to the seaside. We ate chips 'n' ice cream and attemted to lift the thoroughly depressing atmosphere that hung around Bridlington (why don't people smile anymore? why does everyone look so grubby? why was the place full of athletes?) M has lost her magic touch. She is, or rather was, a master of the grabber machine. But, several UKPs later, she failed to get her hands on any of the stuffed rubbish that fills these glass cases. Yet, just mere months ago, I witnessed her grab two prizes at once! It was truly amazing. But, sadly, the gift has gone. And my own efforts on the two pence sliding shelf machines (what are they called?) can only be described as pathetic. Noticed that all the sea front fortune tellers had shut up shop for the winter. Do they know something we don't?

Reading: The Complete Maus. Go kill yourself, you insult to music you: Goldie Lookin' Chain (just fuck off, I've had enough). Pointless Exercise: National Download Week (going legal just takes all the fun out of it, don't you think? I say bring back home taping, something else that also once threatened to bring the music industry to its knees...but didn't).
