Last night was fun. And there is no better way to deal with a hangover than pop in an appearance on your local BBC radio station. Promotional duties for the play. It went extremely well. Much better than I thought it would as I walked around a rain-soaked city centre an hour prior to my appearance, acutely aware that my mind wasn't fully functioning and unable to remember any of the play's content. In the end, though, there was nothing to worry about. It helped that the presenters were quite brilliant at putting a gibbering wreck like myself at complete ease.
The alco-recovery continued with a DVD screening of the Life & Death of Peter Sellers, which stars Geoffrey Rush. Very enjoyable couple of hours during which I made myself feel better by stuffing my face with Doritos and Jalapeno peppers.
