Lounge...

So, we decided to go and check out one of Hull's newest bars. And we're sat outside, in the sun, talking about how pleasant it is to be able to sit on the street of a busy city and actually feel relaxed and at one with the world and all its possibilities when a dustcart pulls down the road leading to the pub next door's car park and stops, right next to us. For 15 minutes. During which, consumption of lager and g&ts and Coke and any further chat was curtailed somewhat by the sound of a crunching dustcart, big industrial dustbins being dragged back and forth and lots of diesel fumes flying out the back of the cart. This, apparently, is 21st century cafe culture and what we must all embrace if there is ever to be One Hull. May the renaissance in the north keep rolling on.

I like the flashy dischoteque aesthetics of the interior decoration. Seems a nice place.
