Ooh, fireworks. Really cheap fireworks. Fireworks so cheap you think that it's all going to end in tears. Two 130-shot Roman Candles for £3? Surely that British Standards kite mark is a fake? We let a few off and managed to get through it all with our hands intact. There was smoke, bangs and colourful lights in the sky. Great. We also ate onion bhajis, pitta bread and humous. Fantastic. Oddly, Sunday was a lot quieter than Saturday night. Until we got back to east Hull, which sounded as loud as I imagine Basra to sound on an average day.

On the NaNoWriMo front, I made it to 10,055 words at 10am today, just like I planned. Yippee.
