Yes, like the rest of the blogging world I've been left so shocked and distressed by the passing of Bernard Manning that I've been unable to post. I was half-hoping that he'd be a surprise celebrity addition to the Big Brother house this year. Sadly, that was not to be. What should I do next? I was thinking dancing on his grave?

I am shocked, I didn't even know he was dead. I shall stop reading the Guardian and come here instead.
