A return to York today. We made a very significant joint purchase - The Complete Maus, by Art Spiegelman. We've had our combined four eyes on this for a while but have never been in a position to scrape up the readies before. So, having some leftovers following a surprisingly cheap Thai lunch, we made the investment. M is busy with it now, but she's thundering through the pages and telling me how worthy it is while I shuffle around, dibbing into various Guardian supplements and ponder over various CDs. We also had to head into Barclays Bank, where an odd woman at the reception desk, when questioned about the laborious use of paper forms in these electronic days, insisted that filling in a form manually, then passing it on to someone else to input, actually saved time. Yeah, right, or it might have contributed to the ridiculously lengthy queue that she was faced with.
Currently playing: Embrace - Singles 97-02 The Ramones - Hey Ho! Let's Go!
