Christmas present received from the company: Two bottles of wine and some Belgium chocolates, all delivered in a corrugated cardboard shoe box. It's all about the presentation, eh? There was a rumour kicking about that the box may well contain shoes, the ideal gift for a workforce destined for the scrap heap and/or the dole queue come the 2006 sales. The shoes would actually be programmed to propel you directly out of the office and into the relevent section of the nearest Job Centre Plus (that's on the corner opposite, then). Tis the season to be jolly. In other news, I've bought a rather fetching Fender Telecaster. It's like a dream come true. If only my fingers were nimble enough to play it as well as I'd like.
