Guest blog by M...

Well, well, well, another year is almost over and I thought that I would take this opportunity to post my annual blog (ok, it's the first one but who's counting?)
Like the Queen and French and Saunders I like to make a slightly disappointing public appearence at this time of year and so here I am.
Have had a year full of ups and downs, highlights and lowlights and every other cliche I can think of. The downs have been many e.g. having to live in the shadow of blogger and general madman Dave Windass, losing two much loved and missed relatives and a series of dodgy employment opportunities, and then the good stuff: there was Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, a new baby (not mine I hasten to add), friends who really came through for me, a new PSP and a nice sparkly diamond ring.
We have a house to call our own and plays to work on. There is talk of visiting Tokyo next year and am looking forward to fulfilling my ambition and training to be a youth counsellor/social worker.
Of course, I'll never have enough trainers (shouldn't this site be sponsored by Duffs or Vans, Dave?) and I'm getting a bit worried that series 5 of Curb Your Enthusiasm might be the last and that I'll never find the time to do everything I want to do before I turn 30 in November, but all in all, life's pretty good and for all his moaning and complaining, I kind of think that Dave feels this way too.

Reading: Ghostworld by Daniel Clowes. Watching: Neighbours (the Pizzy - aka Paul and Izzy - era) and Quantum Leap Series 1 and 2. Listening: Pippa Fulton and Dan Bryan - JOKE!
