Aggregate...

The big pile of concrete in Hull city centre's coming on apace. Why, it's getting higher and higher and it's even starting to look like a shopping mall/leisure complex/saviour of a northern cul-de-sac. Still hard to envisage what the end result will be, given all that fancy metal shuttering, even when I've seen nice artist's impressions. But those construction chaps are like worker ants, scurrying all over the shop, pouring more and more concrete, waving their arms about to crane drivers way up in the sky and looking swanky in their high-vis overalls. It's like the sort of stuff you seen in proper cities.
