50,000 words later...

Finished the 50,000 word exercise this morning. I got a downloadable certificate in the .pdf format. Thanks. And a new little badge for the right hand side of the blog. Thanks. And, of course, a 50,000 word novel. What am I going to do with that? I've got a houseful of books. The last thing I needed was another one.
I'll have a look at it in a few weeks, probably put it on the website as a free download, if you're interested? It's a filthy over-18s-only story and includes a sex scene narrated by a dog. Bet that's whetted your appetite, you filthy pervert.

No time for celebrations or resting on laurels, oh no. It was shirt on and straight to York as soon as I'd backed up the 50k to various indestructible media. York was full of people shopping. I bought a pasty and a stamp and met an actor on his lunch break from Theatre Royal panto rehearsals.

So, no NaNoWriMo tomorrow. Phew. I will be able to do some paying work instead. Writing plays and all that. Now you'll have to excuse me as I'm off to see The Bees at local dive The Welly.

RIP: Fluff Freeman.

Listening: Oasis - Stop The Clocks.

Thanks Nick, you're better than a .pdf certificate. As you're the only person that's commented I will have to assume that you're the filthy pervert I had in mind when I was writing the book!
