I went into Tesco for a Cornish Pasty, an ink cartridge and a die-cast police car for Finn. Which I got. I also bumped into Hull's award-winning playscribe Richard Bean, in town for rehearsals of his new play Pub Quiz Is Life. "Will it offend me?" I asked Richard Bean.
